- Implementing preventive maintenance and repair procedures according to company standards, overseeing documentation and adherence to protocols.
- Supervising Maintenance Technicians in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, as well as managing wastewater and roll grinding operations.
- Cultivating a collaborative and productive work environment to enhance team performance and morale.
- Facilitating the training and development of maintenance personnel, promoting continuous learning and skill improvement.
- Overseeing adjustments to plant equipment to ensure optimum performance and safety.
- Leading preventive maintenance efforts to maintain the reliability of production equipment.
- Conducting "in-shop" repairs, including welding, machining, and related tasks, while guiding and assisting maintenance staff.
- Identifying complex electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues and coordinating appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborating closely with production teams to execute tasks efficiently and safely.
- Ensuring strict compliance with regulatory safety requirements, including OSHA standards.
- Procuring spare and replacement parts and materials as necessary.
- Performing all duties while adhering to regulatory safety requirements, such as OSHA standards.
- Consistently utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and understanding Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, fractions, decimals, and basic geometry.
- Ability to troubleshoot - determine causes of operating errors and implementing a plan to fix.
- Ability to problem solve and make difficult, time-sensitive decisions under pressure
