In this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal and non-metallic parts by operating a 5-Axis Mill-Turn center.
Set up and Operatre B-Axis 5-Axis CNC Mill-Turn machine to perform task such as turning, drilling, milling, part complete operations.
Follow the in-process part inspection process, and notify the Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance.
Communicate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues.
Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.
Document all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shifts
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Knowledge of all required measuring equipment which includes calipers, gauges
Ability to document machining procedures
Experience in Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines preferred
ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English
Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies
Consistently stand for an entire shift
Strong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledge
