    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATIONS COORDINATOR


    As an Operations Coordinator, you assist the Outside Sales team with entering purchase orders, researching products, creating quotes, and administering credit rebills.

    You also provide sales support and account management for key accounts.

    Day-to-day responsibilities include requesting service work to be performed, following up on work orders, ordering service parts, coordinating the daily delivery schedule, and assisting in troubleshooting and finding solutions for internal order processing errors with the warehouse and purchasing departments.

    You also participate in high-volume customer meetings and functions and visit customer sites and businesses as a secondary customer contact.

    You frequently work alongside and organize with other Acme Tools locations and need to stay informed on all new and current products carried by Acme Tools.

    The Operations Coordinator focuses on maintaining a safe and secure work environment while efficiently completing assigned tasks.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    An associate degree or equivalent experience
    Excellent customer service and organization skills
    Proven communication skills in-person, over the phone, and through email
    Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) and the ability to learn new software
    Analytical, multi-tasking, and decision-making strengths
    The ability to work on weekends if needed


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Lift up to 50 lbs.
    Look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
    Bend, sit, squat, lift overhead, push, pull, kneel, and reach
