    Position: Charge RN – Med Surg Unit
    Duration: 13 Weeks
    Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
    Schedule: 3x12 / 4x12
    Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat
    Week 2: Sun, Wed, Thu
    Every other weekend
    No Call
    RTO: No RTO preferred

    Job Overview:

    Seeking an experienced Charge RN for a 10-bed Med Surg unit. This leadership role requires previous charge experience and the ability to oversee staff, manage patient flow, and support the team during the shift. The Charge Nurse may float in the event of an emergency to assist other departments.

    Unit Details:

    • 10-bed floor

    • Ratios: 1:5 max

    • Potential to float if needed

    Requirements:

    • Active RN License (State or Compact)

    • Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience

    • Previous Charge experience required

    • First-time travelers accepted

    • BLS & ACLS required

    • PALS preferred

    Charting System: CPSI (experience not required – training provided)
