- Design and develop electrical systems and components for computer hardware products, including motherboards, and peripheral devices.
- Create detailed schematic diagrams for digital and analog circuits, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and supply chain partners to select appropriate components based on performance, cost, and availability.
- Conduct signal integrity analysis and simulation to optimize the performance of high-speed digital interfaces and minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI).
- Design power distribution systems, voltage regulation circuits, and power management solutions to ensure reliable and efficient operation of computer hardware products.
- Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts, identify issues, and optimize performance before mass production.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers, to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and support certification efforts for computer hardware products.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical design to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience in electrical design for computer hardware products, including schematic design and board-level integration.
- Proficiency in schematic capture tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles, including signal integrity, power distribution, and EMI/EMC.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink) and PCB layout tools is a plus.
