    Job Description
    SUMMARY

    Ares Management is looking to hire an Analyst for the East Region Relationship Management team in New York. This individual will cover a workload which includes ongoing responsibilities to run existing processes and provide project leverage (research, analytics, data organization, materials prep, etc.). This individual will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment where they can develop both technical and interpersonal skills at one of the leading global alternative investment management firms.     REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

    Reports to: Partner, Head of East Region Relationship Management

    Supervises: n/a

    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide support to the East Region Relationship Management Team responsible for marketing all of Ares' strategies to prospective and existing investors
    • Responsible for tracking all meetings with investors and prospects, including maintenance of Salesforce system, distribution of conference and meeting notes, and other organizational tasks related to supporting the East RM team
    • Organize, plan and prepare materials for fundraising roadshows, meetings and calls with portfolio managers and senior leadership. Responsible for preparing briefing memos, agendas, and customized client materials
    • Gather critical data to quickly respond to client information requests
    • Interact regularly with investment professionals and product managers regularly to track recent developments, portfolio performance, and fundraising progress / plans
    • Continuously track and analyze investor mandates and allocation preferences, as well as conduct quantitative and qualitative market and competitor research to produce investor demand assessments identifying key prospects ahead of fund launches and fundraising roadshows
    • Organize client lists and help track and update prospects through CRM across all Firm strategies
    • Gather market intelligence and research on markets, industry trends, and new potential clients
    • Strategically work across Team East to meet internal deliverable deadlines (demand assessments, pipeline updates, etc.)
    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: College graduate with major in Economics, Finance, General Business or Management preferred, with outstanding academic record

    Experience Required:
    • 1-3 years of corporate experience required;
    • Financial services experience preferred;
    • Series 7 and 63, or ability to obtain;
    • CRM experience and proficiency strongly preferred;
    • Spanish or Portuguese language skills preferred

    Compensation

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

    $85,000 - $105,000
