    We are seeking a Senior Manager Logistics for our Louisville, United States site to work collaboratively within all areas of the business.

    Job Summary

    Plans, organizes, directs and controls Plant Receiving and Stockroom to ensure that the company goals and objectives can be met. Supervises the activities of both direct and indirect employees that are responsible for the shipping, receiving and related support functions for all customers. Leads all logistics related operations on the site.

    Key accountabilities:

    Provides direction and supervision to direct/indirect staff in order to ensure the uninterrupted flow of traffic in and out of Ivys facilities.

    Publishes reports on efficiencies and metrics for customer-specific operations in sufficient detail as to allow adequate control, communication and improvement opportunities.

    Ensures that all internal and external quality requirements are being met and institutes corrective action wherever necessary.

    Participates in the development and support of quality, cost, and schedule conformance targets for customer-specific operations and communicates them to direct and indirect staff.

    Coordinates the publication and dissemination of all customer required documentation.

    Warehouse management experience.

    Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.

    Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable companys business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.

    Strong financial and analytical ability.

    Proven experience in cycle counting processes and problem solving.

    Writes routine reports and correspondence.

    Speaks effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    Solves practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products and e-mail skills required.

    Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

    5 or more years of work-related experience required in Warehouse and Logistics management

    Bachelors Degree, Degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics management or related field preferred. Master's Degree is a plus.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
