    Description

    Job Title: Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to lead our team in designing and managing projects for sports and entertainment facilities in Memphis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assume responsibility for project designs under supervision, developing design approaches and concepts with input from senior staff.
    • Perform engineering studies and analyses using industry software, overseeing the preparation of drawings and evaluating the work of colleagues.
    • Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities to ensure compliance with construction, code, and government requirements.
    • Develop man-hour budgets and work plans for the discipline team, providing input on project schedules and coordinating equipment selection.
    • Communicate design requirements and answer questions from contractors and suppliers during the bid or construction phases.
    • Conduct job site visits to monitor progress and observe installed construction, making comments based on design specifications and building codes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college with five years applicable experience in discipline design and analysis.
    • Registered Professional Engineer.
    • Project management experience and basic knowledge of project financial management.

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
