    Job Type: Part-Time

    Schedule: Requires Evening and Weekend Availability

    Pay: $17.00-$19.00 (Based on years of experience)

    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    • Prepares meals from standardized recipes following the order in a timely and attractive manner, following and maintaining community standards.
    • Set up food service lines and workstations with needed condiments, garnishes, etc.
    • Ensures all condiments, garnishes, etc. are prepared and served as directed by the Executive Chef and community standards.
    • Assists with the coordination of prep work for the following day's menu.
    • Assists in the training and development of new kitchen staff.
    • Assists Executive Chef/Sous Chef with food orders from vendors.
    • Assists in the creation of the menu cycle.
    • Assists in the creation and execution of special events and functions in the community.
    • Fills in for Sous Chef when absent.
    • Keeps stockroom, coolers, and freezers clean and ensures that all food supply stocks are rotated, and perishables are labeled, dated, and stored properly.
    • Maintains kitchen cleanliness and food preparation standards by state and local health department code requirements.
    • Keep food waste to a minimum by utilizing food storage and food recycling techniques.
    Qualification Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • One to two years of related work experience
