    COMPENSATIONBase Salary - USD $200,000 to $275,000 based on experience level
    DESCRIPTIONIndustry: Healthcare / Health ServicesOverview:With the direction of the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, our Medical Group, the Vice President, THMG Finance, directs THMG's financial planning and analysis, financial operations and provider compensation activities and transactions.

    The Vice President oversees the work of and provides leadership to the financial team and maintains positive relationships with a variety of internal and external constituents within THMG and across the hospital.

    Reports to the SVP, Chief Financial Officer, our Medical Group.


    Responsibilities:


    Coordinates with the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, our Medical Group to direct all components of THMG's financial planning and analysis, financial operations and provider compensation activities and transactions.

    Directs and monitors the daily activities for all staff, primarily the Director of General Accounting and Provider Compensation and the Director, Budget, Financial Analysis and Financial Reporting who have a direct reporting relationship to this role.

    Oversees the monthly financial statement closing process and prepares reports and schedules, assists the team in identifying and analyzing all variances, and communicates results to Senior Leadership and identifies trends and patterns.

    Partner with the Revenue Cycle team to ensure the timely and accurate recording of all revenue cycle related activity, including contractual and bad debt reserve estimates.

    Works with the Revenue Cycle team regarding the validity and completeness of all financial data within EPIC, including fees, wRVUs.

    Interacts with THMG operational management and staff in interpreting financial results and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and to automate and improve workflows.

    Collaborates with Corporate and Hospital Finance teams to ensure consistent accounting and proper recording of transactions and interacts with departments of the hospital in all marketplaces, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources, Information Technology for support for operations related to financial activities.

    Works with the team to ensure account reconciliations are prepared timely and promptly identifies and communicates any irregularities.
    Generates regular reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.

    Under the direction of the SVP, CFO, THMG, directs all activities as they relate to the annual operating and capital budget process, including the preparation of all schedules and reports required by Senior Leadership.

    Coordinates such activities with THMG Operations and Corporate Finance.

    Assists the team in the preparation of all proformas as they relate to business opportunities, makes recommendations, and provides an assessment of the viability of such opportunities.

    Coordinates any financial due diligence processes related to any physician acquisition activity.

    Works with the Director, General Accounting and Provider Compensation to ensure transactions related to provider compensation, including the calculation and processing of incentives and all supplemental compensation are performed timely and accurately.

    Oversees all analytical work as it relates to provider compensation issues, modeling and provides assistance in compensation design at the director of Senior Leadership.

    Implements financial policies and procedures and ensures compliance.
    Assures implementation of internal controls and generally accepted accounting procedures.
    Educates provider and operational staff and other selected staff on financial management principles.
    Supervises the analysis of costs and makes rate recommendations to ensure appropriate income/cash flow.
    Oversees and directs all components of the organization's internal and external audits.
