    We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving Clerk with experience operating a forklift to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of our facility. Receive incoming raw materials and verify their accuracy against purchase orders and specifications. Inspect and record the condition of raw materials, checking for damages, quality issues, or discrepancies. Organize and store raw materials in a manner that ensures easy accessibility and efficient retrieval. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move raw materials within the facility. Load and unload trucks, both manually and using a forklift, in a secure and controlled manner. Package and prepare raw materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and update the inventory management system. Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal team members to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues. Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring the safe handling and storage of raw materials. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace within the shipping and receiving area.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Previous experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience operating a forklift.

    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage raw material inventory effectively.

    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with precision and efficiency.

    Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

    Physical fitness and the capability to handle and lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).

    Knowledge of raw material handling, storage, and inventory management best practices.

    Familiarity with shipping and receiving software and systems is advantageous.

    Requirements:

    · High school diploma or equivalent.

    · Proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in a warehouse environment.

    · Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent demonstrated experience operating a forklift.

    · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    · Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

    · Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

    · Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and best practices.

    · Familiarity with shipping software and systems is a plus.
