    Full-TimeShift: Day Life Care Center of Payson, AZ$10,000 sign-on bonusIn-house rehab programs with empowering work environmentsPart of a network of nearly 200 facilities in 26 statesContinuing education and growth opportunitiesPosition SummaryThe Director of Rehabilitation Services directs the three rehab departments of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to ensure the highest quality of rehab services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

    Education, Experience, and Licensure RequirementsActive license in physical (BSPT, MSPT, DPT, or PTA), occupational (BSOT, MSOT, COTA), or speech (MA, MS, CCC SLP, or CFY SLP) therapy and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license typeCurrently registered/licensed with applicable State.

    Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employmentTwo (2) years' supervisory experience in post acute care or related settingCPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.

    CPR certification must remain current during employmentSpecific Job RequirementsLiaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc.

    patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etcMaintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationUnderstand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingEssential FunctionsRecruit, select, hire, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise Rehab department staffOversee and evaluate care given by therapy studentsDirect the growth, development, and maintenance of rehab programsFunction as staff therapist as caseload requiresMaintain appropriate staffing patterns as clinically indicatedUtilize therapy software appropriately and accuratelyEffectively manage department budgetExhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsAssist in the evacuation of patientsDemonstrate dependable, regular attendanceConcentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentCommunicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamSit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hoursRead, write, speak, and understand the English languageAn Equal Opportunity Employer
