Job Summary:
The Department of Bioengineering and the Barbara Davis Center at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical campus is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The successful candidate will work on research projects related to contrast-enhanced ultrasound approaches and image processing to study islet microvasculature remodeling. The candidate will join the Benninger lab, a team focusing on understanding the mechanisms of the endocrine pancreas and hormone secretion regulation.
Specific Position Details:
The ideal candidate will develop projects related to studying islet microvasculature dysfunction and blood flow changes in type1 diabetes. This includes using ultrasound imaging, advanced signal processing, and developing computational models. The candidate will have the opportunity to mentor junior scientists, give guest lectures, and receive guidance in writing fellowship applications.
