Planet Aid is looking for dependable box truck drivers for full-time positions that offer benefits, weekly pay, room for growth, and steady hours. The drivers will drive up to a 20-foot box truck to pick up donated items from Planet Aid's collection bins.

Average starting pay for new drivers: $22 per hour ($18/hour + weekly production bonus)
Payment frequency: Weekly
Work schedule: 10-hour shifts, weekdays only
Shift start time: Between 6 and 7 a.m.
Benefits: Health, vision, dental, life/AD&D insurance, vacation time, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) plan

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

Demonstrate safe and efficient box truck driving skills
Empty donation bins, collect donations, and dispose of any surrounding trash on a daily route
Load donated items onto the truck safely and efficiently
Offer exceptional customer service and interact with customers professionally
Lift and handle bags weighing up to 50 pounds and push objects up to 300 lbs

REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience in commercial small-truck driving
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, background check, driving record verification, and DOT physical exam
Familiarity with FMCSA Regulations
