    Job Goals:

    • Assist the high school principal with the administration and supervision of the high school program

    Performance Responsibilities:
    Discipline and Evaluations
    Social Studies Department
    Business Department
    Technology Department
    Responsibilities

    Oversee the Advanced Placement (AP) Program and Examinations – ordering of exams, exam schedule creation, proctoring training and proctor schedule, creation of testing accommodation schedule, applying for testing modifications, communication to AP teachers, CollegeBoard representative, BHS AP Testing Coordinator.

    Oversee all June and January Regents testing – ordering exams, creation of schedule, creation of proctoring schedule, training proctors, oversee scoring, work with special education coordinator to schedule students with testing modifications, and ensure all protocols are followed.

    Assist in overseeing Brighton Believes Day.
    Assist in overseeing the BST Attendance Committee
    Create Assembly Schedules and assist with all assembly programs.
    Building Safety Team Member
    School Based Equity Team (SBET) Member
    Professional Learning Team (PLT) Member
    Culture Climate Leadership Team (CCLT) Member
    Any other duties as assigned.

    Terms of Employment:
    12 months per year. Salary and working conditions as defined in the
    negotiated agreement between the District and the Association of
    Brighton Administrators.
    Job Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Successful teaching experience
    • Appropriate New York State Administrative Certification
    • Knowledge of high school organization and programs
    • Skills in communications (written and verbal), planning, problem solving, decision making and working with people
    • Ability to work with staff and parents with diverse opinions
