- Provide technical services representing SWRMC Engineering Department and other duties as assigned.
- Provide both on-board, and distance-support technical assistance in connection with direct fleet support of a wide variety of equipment and components for surface ships over their extended operating cycle.
- Technical assistance will include assisting the ships with operational tests, problem identification, troubleshooting (could be down to component level), corrective and preventive maintenance, post repairs operational tests and updating all job related data requirements.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Navy "A" and "C" schools for Gun Systems and Magazine Sprinkler Systems;
- Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Minimum of six (6) years' experience;
- Must have a valid U.S
