Job summary
We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Physician Blood Draw Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining blood specimens, processing laboratory specimens for clinical analysis, and providing patient information to the appropriate caregiver.Key responsibilities include properly identifying patients per policy, performing venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods, labeling all specimens following laboratory policy, receiving/cancels/orders and processing laboratory/microbiology specimens,
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of phlebotomy program.
- National Phlebotomy Certification is preferred.
