Echocardiogram Technologist
Salary $55.00-$60.00 per Hr.
We are seeking an echo technologist to work in medical practices in the Bronx. The positions do not require travel; you will work at the same location for your shift. No Travel positions.

Job Summary:

Must be RCS/RDCS registered.
Our ideal candidates will have at least 6 months-1 year or more hands-on experience in Echo scans.

Make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel
comfortable.
Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient
information.


Echocardiogram Technologist Requirements and Qualifications:
Education in magnetic resonance imaging, radiology, or similar
Certification through the RCS/RDCS or a similar organization (preferred)
Experience in a similar technologist or radiographer role
Strong communication and patient care skills
