    Dermody, Burke & Brown (DB&B) is currently seeking a

    Tax Manager .

    If you're working in public accounting or private industry and want an opportunity to advance professionally and work on exciting, challenging projects with a mix of clients, then our team may be right for you This is a unique opportunity to apply your accounting experience to a variety of small to mid-size business clients.

    ResponsibilitiesPrepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax engagementsAbility to manage multiple projects/task on a timely basis while monitoring time spentDetail focused and driven to achieve high standardsOutstanding analytical, organizational and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsKnowledge of CCH, Prosystem FX Suite, Quick Books is preferred.

    Proficient in tax research and documentationRespond to inquiries from IRS and StateWorks cooperatively in teamsEffective written and verbal communication skills requiredQualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in AccountingMinimum 1+ years experience in public accountingCurrent CPA designation or significant progress towards certificationFlexible work arrangements with generous PTOCompetitive salary with bonus program, Profit Sharing, and Health InsuranceCollaborative environment focused on career and leadership developmentSalary $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience.
