    JOB DUTIES
    • Provide knowledge and leadership in the areas of Environmental, Health, and Safety and safe working practices
    • Lead the effort to identify, investigate, recommend, and implement equipment improvements and process systems changes that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned ancillary equipment
    • Manage business aspects of ancillary asset(s) such as, capital projects, compliance projects and equipment reliability
    • Manage vendors to ensure proper install of equipment. Validate this install that comply with safety, quality and throughput standards
    • Able to generate new CI project ideas and generate cost benefit analysis to evaluate project viability
    • Improve and verify technical skill levels of molding room operators and assist in training where necessary
    • Lead/Improve Asset Reliability and recommend possible Reliability Strategies (including spares, down day planning, lubrication, operator basic care routes, asset clean to inspect, etc.) for noted ancillary equipment
    • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
    • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
    • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
    • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
    • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government and company regulations.
    • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
    • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Education
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Industrial Engineer OR FIVE (5) or more years of experience with direct responsibility for ancillary equipment
    Experiences
    • 2+ years of related experience
    • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
    • Preferred to have experience in injection molding or high speed automation
    • Preferred to have new product launch or large capital project experience
    • Necessary Skills
      • Excellent communication skills w/ cross functional teams
      • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast paced environment
      • Ability to manage projects and vendors
      • Technical mindset to find true root causes and corrective actions
      • Ability to run cost-benefit analysis
      • Understanding of electro-mechanical systems
      • Ability to both 2D and 3D model
    • Desired Skills
      • Knowledge of machining and fabrication practices (milling, drilling, welding, etc.)
      • Knowledge of material conveying systems (Resin/Part)
      • Knowledge of Pneumatics, Electronics, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Vision Systems
      • Ability to read and draw electrical diagrams
      • Ability to analyze and clean databases via Excel
      • High speed automation servicing
      • Knowledge of injection molding process
