- Perform high-quality echocardiographic exams and collaborate with cardiology staff for precise diagnoses of complex congenital and acquired pediatric heart issues
- Assist and engage in the technical echocardiographic training of technologists, Pediatric Fellows, and visitors
- Carry out daily operational maintenance of Echo Lab supplies and equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, working closely with departmental staff and healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch patient care
- Implement quality assurance measures within the team and oversee the completion of departmental, regulatory, and professional training requirements
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all Texas Children's employees, with relevant booster doses as per CDC guidelines
- Technical diploma from an ultrasound school or a bachelor's degree in biological science
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer with CCI, Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer with CCI, or Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Sonography Canada
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an echo sonographer, including 2 years in a pediatric setting
