- New 14,000 sq. ft. office space with state-of- the-art equipment for echocardiography and stress testing. The office also supports MUGA scans and a Coumadin and Pacemaker Clinic.
- The Hospital is equipped with two (2) newstate-of-the-art Cath Labs , fully staffed and able to accommodate current and projected volumes.
- Non-Invasive Imaging: Stress (Nuclear/Echo), Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, Holter/Event/EKG, CTA.
- Interventional Cardiology: Cardiac catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Mechanical circulatory support devices, Peripheral Vascular Interventions, Structural Heart Interventions, Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices, Endovascular thrombectomy

First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join an established and busy practice of seven (7) Cardiologists and seven (7) APPs. The group is currently seeking an additional non-structural interventional cardiologist due to demand and expansion. This is an exceptional growth opportunity for an experienced interventionalist or recent graduate to join the market predominant group within a newly constructed facility with plans for further future expansion.
First Physicians Group is one of the Gulf Coast's largest primary and specialty care groups. The group is comprised of 590+ Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers covering 49 specialties in 70 practice locations throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties. FPG has been delivering excellent care for the past 30 years, and it is backed by the tradition and strength of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.
Opened in 2021, SMH-VeniceHospital is located on a 65-acre campus and features a 365,000-square-foot, 3-story hospital currently licensed for 178 private patient suites, a 28-bed emergency care center, and 8 surgical suites. Construction continues into 2024 to add 34 additional private rooms as well as expansion of the ER to 61 rooms, and space created to add 8 more surgical suites. SMH-Venice was designed with a growing community in mind and a master plan of providing 400 private inpatient suites with complementary sized emergency room and surgery services to ensure quality care and access.
