    At Allied Seed, our Mission is focused on advancing the forage, turf, and cover crop industry through a value-added pipeline of consistent and high-quality seed.

    _ PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT _ Assists in the daily operational duties at the facility.

    _ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS _ Ensures product is packaged at correct weight and proper levels of seed treatments are being applied.

    Stacks, stencils, cleans, and properly tags bags on pallet. Maintains an accurate count of product bagged. Operates necessary machinery such as forklifts, etc.

    _ OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS _ Follows Allied Seed's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

    Performs all other duties as assigned.

    _ REQUIREMENTS _ Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principals of inventory management and mechanics.

    Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

    Understanding and experience with competitive adeptness, inventory management, product knowledge and proficiency, Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

    Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed. Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures. Will be required to work hours other than those considered 'normal' to meet seasonal demands.

    Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
