    What Does the Job Entail?

    • Assist the Manager in supervising a team of 10-20 tax professionals, spanning in-house, remote, and offshore staff.
    • Ensure Tax Accountants are well-equipped and trained on new products, tax laws, procedures, and customer needs.
    • Uphold the integrity of our work through timely and accurate reviews of tax returns, work-papers, and projections.
    • Ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of tax returns and other services to keep clients compliant with their tax obligations.
    • Collaborate with clients to address issues and enhance their overall experience.
    • Engage with cross-functional teams and external parties on ad-hoc projects.
    • Collaborate closely with the Retention and/or Billing team to resolve tax compliance-related complaints.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of hands-on income tax experience in a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
    • 2+ years of experience in supervising or managing a team of accountants.
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Comprehensive understanding of complex tax issues, with a specialization in partnership tax compliance.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.
    • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to nurture client and staff relationships.
    • Proficiency in team-building, maintaining team engagement, and motivation.
    • Ability to identify and execute solutions decisively.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • EA or CPA certification.
