Duties
As a Tax Information Specialist 3 (Supervisor) in a busy call center, you'll use your technical skills and leadership qualities to enhance customer service, ensure accurate responses to tax inquiries, and oversee payment collection and cash handling. We're looking for a leader who fosters positivity and collaboration while providing training to the team. You'll assist customers with their business filings, educate them on tax laws, and policies.
Who we are looking for:
We need a seasoned leader with a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and support staff effectively. Your role will involve guiding your team to assist customers with filing responsibilities, using online systems, and understanding revenue laws and regulations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for this position.
Qualifications
If you have a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, accounting, or a related field, plus two years of professional experience in Washington State tax administration, tax auditing, or tax collection, we want to hear from you. Alternatively, if you have experience as a Tax Information Specialist 1 or 2, or six years of relevant experience, you could be a great fit for this role. Supervisory experience in customer service is a bonus!
