- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Completion of an accredited School Psychology program
- North Carolina State Certification in School Psychology
- National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional development
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' educational goals and accommodations
- Stay current on best practices and research in the field of School Psychology
- Advocate for the mental health needs of students within the school community
