General Information:

This position will lead the team of test technicians in the Mechanical and Electrical labs while also conducting all tests within the scope of the customer.

Your Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance.

Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics.

Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications.

Maintains records of analysis and tests A Specialist Para-Professional (S4) requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations. T
raining, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees. Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.

Your Background:

This position requires at a minimum an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university in the area of electronics or mechanical manufacturing.

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Proven experience in the fields of electronics or mechanical manufacturing of 5-10 years can be substituted for the degree.
Direct electronic or mechanical testing is a plus.
