Description

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with expertise in Microsoft technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft-based systems and infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT environment.


Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft server operating systems including Windows Server 20XX, Active Directory, and related services.
Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server for email communication, including mailbox administration, security, and performance monitoring.
Monitor and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases for performance, availability, and data integrity.
Configure and manage virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware for server virtualization.
Implement and manage Microsoft Azure or other cloud services for infrastructure deployment and management.
Administer and maintain Microsoft Office 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
Manage and troubleshoot network services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning for Microsoft-based systems and applications.
Collaborate with IT team members and other stakeholders to implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator role, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
Experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 environments.
Proficiency in managing and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Entra is a plus.

Strong understanding of network protocols and services including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
