- Create a welcoming, creative space for children of all levels of artistic abilities.
- Teach courses for grades K-8 visual art and grades 6-8 electives
- Work collaboratively with other teachers in the production of school-wide events.
- Lead the participation of students in local and national art competitions with which the school has been previously affiliated.
- Organize after school art clubs for lower school students.
- A bachelor's degree in art education or an art or design field.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Familiarity with independent school culture.
- Comfort with a faith-based school.
- Knowledge of authentic, age-appropriate technology integration.
- An interest in leading co-curricular activities or coaching sports and chaperoning overnight trips.
