- The Telemetry Nurse (RN) provides care and constant monitoring of patients, often in critical condition. The Telemetry Registered Nurse reviews electrical activity of the heart and cares for a variety of patients including those suffering from heart failure, diabetes, GI diseases, and other acute diagnoses.
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Telemetry experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN Georgia state license
- One year of Epic experience
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
