- Providing direct care to inpatients and their families on an acute 16 bed medical-psychiatric unit.
- Providing individual and family therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
- Making behavioral health referrals to specialty providers. To qualify, you must have:
- A Master's degree in Social Work.
- LCSW in the state of MA is required, LICSW is preferred.
- Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience working with children in an acute psychiatric setting preferred New hire are eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus

The Boston Children's Hospital Inpatient Psychiatry Service (IPS) is a 16-bed, secure inpatient psychiatric unit located on the 5th floor of the Bader building (Bader 5) on the Longwood Campus of Boston Children's Hospital. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.This Inpatient Psychiatry Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
