Do you have experience with multi-unit housing? Our housing maintenance technician provides maintenance for employee housing while ensuring compliance with state rules and regulations.
Inspect multiple housing units following a comprehensive facility maintenance checklist; perform preventative maintenance repairsRespond to maintenance work orders; troubleshoot and perform minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing services
Collaborate with tenants to review and resolve open maintenance issues
Respond to corporate project requests; Communicate with multiple teams and management on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure compliance and consistency regarding housing projects
Advise managers of maintenance concerns and ensure creation of work order requests
Utilize various computer systems to track and report maintenance requests
Participate in company sponsored safety training classes
Maintain own technical knowledge on all equipment within area of responsibility
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Minimum five years' preventive or apartment maintenance experience required
Prior experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems preferred
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Basic understanding of construction practices including plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical
Ability to collaborate and work both on a team or independently with minimal supervision
Travel up to 85%; Able to work evenings and odd hours as needed for emergency after-hours calls
