    Description

    We are assisting a well-known organization in Birmingham in its efforts to find a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer. This individual will need to be proficient in Java, have strong database/SQL skills, and have experience developing APIs.

    *C2C is not an option with this job opening and all applicants should be able to work for any US Employer without sponsorship. Sponsorship is not provided, and this person will not need to require sponsorship in the future*

    What you'll be doing (duties of this position):

    • Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining various web-based enterprise clinical applications and portals.
    • Developing single-page applications along with troubleshooting and solving browser issues and creating new solutions
    • Designing, developing, and deploying responsive web applications
    • Using code versioning tools such as Git/GitLab
    • Working in an Agile/Scrum methodology environment participating in sprints and daily standups.
    What you'll need to be considered (requirements):
    • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of IT experience or 10 years of programming experience
    • a strong developer that has good analytical skills and has experience developing new applications (not just doing general maintenance)
    • Experience in the following technologies is strongly preferred: Maven; JavaScript; Spring; HTML / CSS; Git (Bitbucket Server); Restful Web Services; React; Tomcat OR JBOSS; SQL;
    • Experience in the following technologies is ideal: Liferay; JQuery; Junits; Mybatis; Jenkins; Sonar
    • Strong database/SQL skills (understanding how to code efficient/complex queries, etc)
