    Role:

    The Business Development Executive (BDE) is accountable for prospecting and signing up new dealers for the HomeX Lending program. The BDE is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing HomeX dealers. It is important that the BDE develops relationships with both ownership and senior operational leadership with dealers. The BDE creates opportunities to promote HomeX products with current and potential dealers by educating and training dealers on the value proposition of our program and services. This requires the BDE to have a thorough knowledge of the dealer finance industry, our products and services, as well as understanding the needs of current and potential dealers to promote our product's appeal and usage. The BDE is accountable for influencing key dealer decision makers to utilize HomeX products and services to produce loans that meet our profitability objectives. The BDE will maintain the HomeX relationship with the dealer to provide a viable source of loans for the credit union. The position is responsible for developing targeted industry specific operational tactics to grow HomeX sustainability. BDE will prioritize contact with high value prospects and obtain commitment to do business with credit union. Monitors loan quality, pricing alignment and market competitiveness, application and loan volume, and performs dealer sales training. Coordinates and develops all HomeX marketing including trade shows, dealer promotions, and dealer appreciation. Key attributes needed for success in this role include excellent communication, sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. This role requires on-sight visits to both current and prospective dealers to promote Soarion's HomeX lending program and gather continuous feedback from dealers to enhance the ongoing effectiveness of our products and services. Overnight travel will be required as needed.

    What you will be doing:

    Builds a quality network of HomeX Dealers within established territory to meet production objectives for the region as follows:
    • Identifies and prioritizes new dealers which align with the HomeX Lending Division and Soarion's mission of the future strategic objectives.
    • Assesses opportunities and needs of identified prospects.
    • Presents sales proposals and presentations to dealers to promote Credit Human's lending programs and services.
    • Recommends new dealers for approval to the Director of Business Development.
    • Prepares new dealer agreement documentation, obtain needed signatures, and provide completed documentation for system set up.
    • Verifies that new dealer set up is completed in the system and notify the dealer.
    • Provides dealer with all necessary sales force, operations, and others with HomeX training.
    • Educates dealers on all underwriting policy, programs, and procedures.
    • Travels to assigned markets that may require spending time overnight to maximize productivity.

    Maintain the existing dealer network to meet region's production, quality and efficiency objectives as follows:

    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key owners, finance and sales management teams to ensure regional production objectives and goals are obtained, such as margin yields, loan quality, and efficiency ratio.
    • Continuously educates dealers on all underwriting policy, programs, and procedures.
    • Monitors application and loan production quality and key efficiency ratios of loan producing dealers to ensure goals and objectives of the Director of Business Development are achieved.
    • Coordinate communications with the Credit Analyst on shared source business development and relationship efforts.
    • Works with operations and production team to resolve any problematic issues with dealers.
    • Provides responsive and effective communication with dealers to ensure clarity, understanding and alignment of our program and services.
    • Communicates to dealers all changes to guidelines, pricing and other program parameters.
    • Maintains key source contacts and document communications into CRM database.

    Monitor and identify changes in the marketplace that affect business development as follows:

    • Maintains up to date knowledge of competitor's program offerings, consumer needs, and industry/product trends for improving service and product offerings
    • Represents Soarion at industry related events to promote the HomeX Lending program
    • Coordinates and develops all HomeX marketing including trade shows, dealer promotions, and dealer appreciation.
    • Obtains feedback from market and dealers to assist the Director of Business Development with product enhancement, development, and promotions.

    Compliance and Financial

    • Actively monitors regulatory changes that effect dealer lending business model and inform/recommend needed changes.
    • Ensures compliance with appropriate policy and procedures for the organization's various risk exposures to include operational, reputation and regulatory risk through stewardship of human capital.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    What you'll bring along:

    • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, preferred
    • 3-5 Years of experience or similar experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards, particularly related to the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
