    $33.74 / hourSummaryAre you interested in working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with a highly trained, multidisciplinary rehab team, consisting of rehabilitation nurses, therapists, care managers, psychologists, peer counselors, and other professionals? Our team has a coordinated approach to maximize independence, reintegrate into the community and increase the overall sense of well-being in collaboration with patients and their families. The Rehabilitation Hospital takes into account all of the physical and cognitive changes to create an individualized program that optimizes patient recovery and caregiver training from neurological and orthopedic injuries.     Provides occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist.

    The COTA implements selected components of patient/client interventions and obtain data related to that intervention; make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the Occupational Therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort; educate and interact Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistant students, technicians, volunteers, patients/clients families, caregivers; and respond to patient/client and environmental emergency situations.

    The COTA will be expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner.

    Requirements Educational Requirements Required:
    Associate's in accredited COTA program

    Additional Requirements:
    Eligible Lee Health candidates are required to graduate from an accredited program. The accepted accrediting body required for Lee Health's Rehabilitation Professionals is the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
