The Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) at Baylor University invites applications for the Louise Herrington Endowed Chair in Mental Health Nursing position.
The qualified candidate must be a nationally recognized nurse with either a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or a Doctor of Education (Ed.
D.) degree with a well-established research and/or scholarship program in the broad category of mental health, have a strong record of significant extramural funding and publications, and show commitment to education and mentorship.
The Herrington Endowed Chair is a senior-level faculty position and must have strong leadership and mentoring experience and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and teaching excellence.
The candidate is expected to work collaboratively with researchers at LHSON and other researchers in various schools/colleges of Baylor University, such as Social Work, Education, Psychology, and Health and Human Sciences.
The Endowed Chair will be a complementary position with the newly established Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track, which started in August 2023.
The successful candidate can be located in the Academic Building of the Louise Herrington School of Nursing at 333 N.
