    Lake Port Square is an upscale Senior Living community located on the shores of Lake Harris on a 78-acre nature preserve. We offer a wide variety of beautifully appointed residential options, a wealth of exceptional services and amenities, and a full calendar of fun, engaging activities. Lake Port Square is conveniently located just an hour away from the airports, shopping, attractions and theme parks of Orlando. Lake County is home to many nature trails, lake activities and the best parks in Central Florida.

    As a life care community, Lake Port Square makes aging in place simple. Residents are able to seamlessly transition from independent living to assisted living, and skilled nursing care, as their healthcare needs change.

    The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for planning, developing, directing and coordination of all aspects of selling and marketing the independent living residences. Responsibilities include direct sales, managing team performance as well as the lead generation program, including advertising, referral development and event programs.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the sales and marketing team within the community. By understanding the industry and economic trends, you will be able to accurately forecast for the teams and lead the teams' strategies for success.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop sales strategies to achieve business and sales goals.
    • Uses Direct Sales Performance Indicators (DSPI) to set goals and diagnose areas of strength or needed improvement.
    • Provide coaching to sales counselors on the community's sales strategies.
    • Plans, develops and executes all aspects of community independent living occupancy development, including annual marketing planning, in collaboration with Senior Housing

    Marketing and Sales team members

    • Participates as an active member of the community leadership team.
    • Monitor industry trends and market competitors to support sales goals.
    • Assist marketing team in developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns.
    • Provide forecasts to leadership for sales and marketing.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant area
    • Two years sales experience or public relations experience necessary
    • Supervisory experience and/or capability
    • Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone. Must be an effective presenter with both large and small groups.
    • Must be able to generate a warm, friendly and caring manner on first impression.
    • Maintains working knowledge of regulations that impact the industry.
    • Experience developing / maintaining a department budget.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
