Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in our industrial plant.
Strategically allocate facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve operational efficiency.
Develop, apply, and maintain the highest standards for quality in industrial processes, materials, and products.
Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to enhance performance.
Analyze work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow to design efficient layouts for equipment and workspaces.
Collaborate with planning and design staff to ensure seamless integration of product design and tooling.
Implement paperless manufacturing solutions to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Work closely with vendors to determine product specifications and facilitate equipment, materials, or parts acquisition, while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to support management decisions.
Liaise with management, engineering, and other teams to align manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations.
Apply statistical methods to forecast future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
0 - 2 years' of engineering experience
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S preferred
