    Job Summary:

    The Program Director is responsible for the operational, managerial, and administrative duties relating to the program. This includes being the first point of contact in case of an emergency situation. The position requires a flexible work schedule that may include working hours other than regular work schedule and evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Essential Functions:

    • Collect, maintain, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the appropriate personnel at Southwest Key Programs national headquarters and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
    • Provide overall supervision and management of all program personnel, including recruitment, hiring, training, and terminating staff members.
    • Maintain adherence to budget requirements by reviewing monthly financials to ensure compliance with operations and contract requirements. Assess program financial needs prior to annual budget negotiations.
    • Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for all staff and clients.
    • Facilitate employee training according to established guidelines and curriculum.
    • Monitor and maintain compliance with organization, licensing, and funding source requirements for all program departments.

    Other Functions:

    • Develop and maintain productive relationships with local, state, and federal stakeholders.
    • Be able to react productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • A combination of one of the following:
      • Bachelor's degree in social services or related field with 5 years supervisory/managerial experience.
      • Master's degree in social services or related field with 2 years supervisory/managerial experience.
    • Cleared Tuberculosis test results.
    • Cleared background check from the appropriate entity.
    • Cleared drug test results (for Texas programs only).
    • Bilingual.
    • Flexibility and willingness to work irregular and long hours, including evenings and weekends.
    • The position requires on-call availability 24 hours a day.
    • Maintain annual training requirements, licensure, and certifications.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to obtain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification and First Aid Certification (CPR).
    • Must be able to supervise clients indoors and outdoors as necessary.
    • Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs are required to complete daily tasks.
    • The job requires extended periods of sitting and use of various office equipment.

    Work Environment:

    This is a 24-hour residential facility where minors receive multiple services. Work shifts are subject to change, and noise levels vary from mild to moderate. The position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
