    About This Role

    This is an incredible opportunity for aSeniorSoftware Development Engineer in Test(SDET)to play a crucial role in shaping the foundations and future of a rapidly growing Advisor Platform. In this role, you'll help analyze and execute the most effective testing approach to assure that products meet design specifications and customer requirements. This role will maintain and administer operational and process quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with peer engineers, engineering managers, and product managers.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Analyze product documentation to plan for the best testing approach that will ensure quality
    • Analyze product documentation to inspire the creation of a Test Plan to ensure testing quality
    • Analyze product documentation to inspire the creation of Test Cases / scripts to ensure testing quality
    • Perform and conduct testing to assure that products meet design specifications and customer requirements
    • Use JIRA for Test Case and Defect Management
    • Identify automation opportunities and build on the existing automation framework
    • Work closely with project managers, software developers, business analysts and Operations team members to ensure quality products
    • Effectively communicate and document all problems discovered during validation process
    • Work independently with limited supervision as well as within a team environment
    • Maintain an established level of productivity using time management techniques
    • Able to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BS Computer Science or equivalent
    • 7 - 10 years of experience working as a QA Engineer in Agile development environment
    • 7 - 10 years of experience testing enterprise grade UI applications and REST API services
    • 3 - 7 years of experience testing on RDBMS databases using SQL Queries
    • Strong experience in building/implementing automation with test cases

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Test Case and Defect Management tools preferably JIRA
    • Must possess an adequate knowledge of Software Quality Assurance industry standards
    • Experience with UI framework such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML is a plus
    • Knowledge of performance testing is a plus
    • Adequate interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Must possess the ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
    • Must possess the ability to work with others adequately
    • Must possess the ability to adequately work independently
    • Ability to achieve deliverables
