    **Position Summary:**

    The Field Services group supports business operations through technology aligned with transportation management requirements. This includes solutions for Dock, Yard, and Dispatching operational processes.

    As a key member of the Field Services team, the Sr. Systems Analyst is responsible for developing sound business cases and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders during the business process review. The Senior Systems Analyst investigates and evaluates hardware and software solutions for the Field Services technology stack. The position provides leadership and direction for cross functional business and IT project teams. These teams consist of business stakeholders, end users, IT staff and outside vendors.

    All Field Services team members may require operating forklift and other equipment in a heavy equipment environment while paying strict attention to safety and operational requirements.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)**

    + Evaluates business requirements, assesses viability, and develops proposed solutions. Works through PMO to ensure proposed solution aligns with business goals.

    + Communicates effectively across all business units to maintain alignment of project deliverables with business goals and expectations.

    + Analyzes existing field service and support solutions and identifies opportunities for improvement.

    + Ensures change management process is adhered to within the Field Services Technology Stack.

    + Provides guidance and support to personnel within the Field Services Team, ensuring efforts and objectives align with business service level expectations.

    + Participates in cyber security and disaster recovery training exercises.
