- Prepare patient specimens as required for laboratory testing
- Perform laboratory tests and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity
- Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient
- Maintain properly documented records of activities
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education (Specify: Medical Laboratory Technician)
- Less than 1 year of experience
- ASCP or equivalent certification desirable
- 20 hours a week
- Primary Weekends
- Sat and Sun (8am - 2pm) and 1 shift during week (8am - 5pm)
