- Conducting technical trade studies related to communications links
- Defining communications system requirements
- Identifying critical technology elements
- Performing RF circuit analysis and design
- Developing communications subsystem integration and verification plans and procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience with aerospace RF and communications system design, analysis, integration, and evaluation
- Experience working with large aperture antennas
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams (hardware/firmware/software) to produce advanced RF solutions is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers is required
- Candidates must have the ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, perform trade studies, conduct major design reviews (e.g. PDR, CDR)
- Extensive/frequent travel required for this position
- Experience with RF modeling and simulation tools (e.g. HFSS, Genesys) required
