- Completes comprehensive patient assessments upon arrival, addressing all aspects of patient needs.
- Develops personalized care plans based on assessments and departmental standards.
- Ensures a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Administers medications and IVs accurately and according to protocols.
- Advocates for patients and their families to ensure the best possible care.
- Collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Participates in discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide nursing care to adult and adolescent patients.
- Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
- Create individualized care plans and goals.
- Document patient care and outcomes accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and physicians.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
- Certifications: Registered Nurse license in Ohio, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
