Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW host a monthly Musical Moments Group in Hedge End for people living with dementia and their family carer.

We are looking for volunteers to lead a group once a month for 2 hours.
The role will involve working with the venue staff to welcome our community members. Being the main contact for the music provider on the day. Working with other volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the event. Full training will be given and you will be supported by our Peer Support Coordinator.
Skills This role would suit anyone that is kind and caring and enjoys helping others.

Lived experience of dementia through caring for a loved one would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

You will need to be confident, a good communicator, and have experience of facilitating events or groups.
