- Experience conducting psychological evaluations, functional behavioral assessments, and student observations
- Experience writing behavioral intervention plans
- Experience writing comprehensive psychological reports
- Experience working with children in grades K-12 with various abilities
- Experience in actively participating in child study/intervention team meetings, which include the ability to collect and interpret student and classroom data related to educational progress
- Knowledge in maintaining records of students' special education reports and services provided
- Training and experience in Response to Intervention (RTI), progress monitoring, and data collection related to multi-tiered interventions
- Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention is preferred
- Experience facilitating CSE, CPSE, and 504 meetings is preferred
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or her designee
- NYSED Certification as School Psychologist
- Experience in a K-12 setting, preferred
- Ability to facilitate CSE, CPSE, and 504 meetings and make decisions that are in the best interest of the students
