We are looking for two Java Developers to assist in the revamping of one of their e-commerce websites. This is an opportunity to step in at the beginning of the project and partner with a high caliber team. We have helped build the team that this person will be a part of – very collaborative, dynamic and successful group.

Responsibilities

Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills

Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
Familiarity with concepts of MVC
Experience with web services, such as REST and/or SOAP
Understanding of and working experience with Struts, Spring and/or Hibernate
Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
Familiarity with continuous integration
