    Job Summary

    The Contracts Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing, executing, and overseeing contracts within L&S Mechanical's contract lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review and Redlining:
      • Reviewing contracts for completeness and accuracy, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
      • Analyzing potential risks involved in specific contract terms and stipulations and mitigating risk through strategic contract language.
      • Communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms are feasible and reflect the organization's capacity and business strategy.
    • Negotiations:
      • Facilitating communication between the organization and third parties to clarify contract conditions.
      • Tracking ongoing negotiations.
    • Execution:
      • Providing regular updates to key stakeholders on contract status.
      • Facilitating and obtaining necessary signatures and approvals.
      • Administering contract execution strategies to avoid legal challenges and penalties.
      • Addressing and resolving disputes arising from contract performance or interpretation.
    • Maintaining:
      • Maintaining organized records of all contracts and related documentation.

    Education and Certification Requirements

    • Solid understanding of legal terminology relevant to contract law and construction industry regulations.
    • Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role, ideally within the industry.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
    • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
