    Description

    Job Description:

    We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Barre and Mat Pilates Instructors to join our team at Equinox locations in Washington DC. This role requires delivering exceptional classes, adhering to class descriptions, and modifying intensity for participants as needed.

    • Main Responsibilities:
    • Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members
    • Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity when necessary
    • Monitor exercise intensity throughout class duration
    • Ensure timely start and end of each class
    • Teach respective classes on a regular basis and minimize subbing
    • Communicate with Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing

    Qualifications:

    • Certification in Barre or Mat Pilates discipline
    • Experience teaching in a group fitness setting
    • Current CPR/AED certification
    • Strong understanding of basic anatomy, kinesiology, and contraindicated exercises
    • Ability to learn and continue professional development and education
    • Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality
