    Job Description:

    The Radiation Therapist coordinates, plans, administers high quality, and comprehensive appropriate radiotherapy to oncology patients of all age groups by utilizing equipment, computers, and established techniques to ensure positive patient experience. Radiation Therapist provides a variety of technical procedures associated with Radiation Therapy Treatments to patients with clinical supervision from the Radiation Oncologist and the Medical Physicist. The Radiation Therapist works effectively to provide excellent customer service in a compassionate and supportive environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Effectively operates imaging equipment to ensure accurate treatments
    • Deliver radiation therapy treatments and explains process to patients
    • Assess patients' reactions to treatments and provide methods to alleviate side effects of treatments
    • Demonstrates competence in the operation and general function of radiation therapy linear accelerators.
    Education/License/Experience
    • AMA graduate from approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
    • ARRT Board Certified
    • BLS certification
    • 1-2 years clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferred.
